People of the WNE Mixed Sectionals,

 

Just a couple of minutes before I hit the friendly skies so:

1) Early registration deadline is still Friday the 25th.  If you are
fielding a team please, please complete and submit a roster so we can up the
number of teams we send to Regionals.  If you don't have a complete roster,
send in one with 7 people (at least 3 men and 3 women)... you are going to
pay the late fee anyways, why not have your roster count?

 

2) Our Sectionals are still September 9th at the Williston Central School
for sure and the 10th if we need to go to an extra day.  Raindate is
September 16th at Williston Central.   Directions are here:

3)  See Will Deaver's email before about introductory membership rates.
Note that there is no "one-day" fee for Sectionals but new players can sign
up for a reduced price.

 

Remember, you need to complete AND submit the roster for it to count.  Any

Subject: Introductory Membership Rates

 

Hey Coordinators,

 

Just a heads up about the Introductory membership rates that are offered in
the fall (after Aug 1 each year).  Until this year, these rates were not
available online.  They were only available through the individual
membership signup form or through the paper roster registration process.  Of
course, we aren't using paper rosters this year, so that is no longer an
option. However, Intro rates are available online now (through PayPal) as
well as through the individual membership signup form. 

 

Intro rates are available only to players who have NEVER been UPA members
before.  Anyone who pays an intro rate who is not eligible for it will have
to pay the balance before their membership is activated.

 

There is more information about Intro rates and membership signup in general
at http://www.upa.org/membership.  Please pass this information along to
teams in your section/region.
