[Frisbee] Crane Tracks

The "rakes and hoes" comment was about the deep tracks caused when a crane
drove across the field last year.
There was some discussion about what might be done to improve the ruts,
but per Dru, nothing to do at the moment.
FYI, I checked them out and they are still there, still deep, and very
compacted.
If we were to do something about it I'd imagine it would involve trying
to loosen and aerate the soil where the crane tires compacted it.
It's interesting to see that there are places where the ruts are not
there, because the soil was already so compacted that the crane seems not
to have sunk in.
I'm not very knowledgeable about field care, landscaping, and such, but
even before the crane tracks, there was some discussion about what might
be done to improve the field, like hiring a professional with appropriate
equipment to loosen and aerate the whole field.
That or drive something heavy everywhere so it's all the same flat
pavementlike consistency, bringing our game back to it's roots in a
parking lot.
Thanks for making the inquiries you are making Dru, and hope we get to
hear some positive news.
Alan
